Household Minute to Win-It

Minute to Win It - Wikipedia
Week #8 of Quarantine

We played four different minute to win-it games. I tried to find challenges that use household items that everyone should already have. We asked everyone to collect these items prior to activity. I will include that below. If there are siblings participating, they will need their own items.

Items:
-A Cookie (Any kind)
-Chop Sticks
-Cotton Balls
-Cereal (Any kind) or Marshmallows
-Four bowls (or two)
-Three cups
-Three spoons

Game #1 - Face the Cookie
You can tilt your head and move your face, but you cannot touch the cookie with your hands. The cookie must remain in contact with your face at all times, so you're not allowed to attempt to flip it from your forehead and catch it in your mouth.

Game #2 - Nose Dive
Transfer cotton balls from one bowl to another by using only your nose.

Game #3 - Chopsticks Challenge
Use chopsticks to transfer cereal (or marshmallows) from one bowl to another.

Game #4 - Spoon Frog
Arrange three spoons on the table to line up with the three cups. Launch the spoons in a catapult-like fashion in attempt to land in the cup.

Pictionary Online

Week #10 of Quarantine  The girls wanted to play generic pictionary. I would privately chat the word to the drawer, they would give me a thumbs up or down if they knew what it was, and then they would begin. We set a timer for 3 minutes for each word, but everyone seemed to guess correctly fairly quick. When we completed a round, which was when everyone had taken a turn, we would set the words to a harder level. Depending on the video chat program you use, there will be a whiteboard that you can share screen with the girls and they can draw on it. If you do not have that or can not make it work, we used regular paper and markers and it worked well for us.  This is the word generator we used: https://randomwordgenerator.com/pictionary.php
