Princess or Prophet

Week #5 of Quarantine I created a powerpoint for a version that I found online along with a pdf answer key that I downloaded. I changed the rules a bit then how it is typically played. A quote appears and you have to guess if a princess (any Disney character) or a prophet (or apostle) said it. Then they have to guess exactly who said it. It was pretty fun. This would be a great game to play with your family. ***I did not create this game, but I did create the powerpoint and vector images. (Yes, the Disney Castle/Temple image is mine.)   Power Point: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vSD0X3EIhkgf1YTL8KbnvgC2zI8QWnIdFyt-6vm5JN6HmmqvwHZGB0xjt_-C2x3rn2EJPN4Uu9llDYw/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000 Original Website with Answer Key PDF: https://utahvalley360.com/2014/01/30/who-said-it-princess-or-prophet/

General Conference Jeopardy

Week #4 of Quarantine  We played the General Conference Jeopardy game that had circulated the internet. It is said that Elder Anderson's family creates a power point after every general conference and plays it as a family. Some of the questions were challenging. I would suggest having each girl play individually instead of playing on teams. It became to confusing for our group to remember who was on what team. https://www.agospelcenteredhome.com/2020/04/05/april-2020-general-conference-jeopardy/

Book Club Online

Week #3 of Quarantine  This was a repeat of the previous Book Club activity we did once before. It was even more popular this time around though! We had a couple girls even share some short stories that they are writing! At the end of the activity I posted a little commentary message on our Facebook page that had all of our reviews of the book/series and the movie or TV show if there is one. I will share below what I posted: I am going to list the books that were shared, apps to use for reading, and any movies that might go along with the shared books. *Twilight by Stephanie Meyer (Twilight series, Book 1) ((I personally did not like the movies, but the group seemed to vote 50/50.)) *Persuasion by Jane Austen ((There are multiple movie/tv adaptations but Sister Brandt knows which one is the best.)) *Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen ((Multiple movie/tv adaptations but no opinions were given.)) *The Lord of the Ring Series by J.R.R. Tolkein ((Movies: Unanimous A+)) *Gadiantons and ...
